What is Hawaii Scuba Divers Home Study Enriched Air NITROX?

Home Study Hawaii Scuba Divers Enriched Air NITROX is the first part of a two part certification, allowing you do your book work Home Study then completing the second part of the course through your Hawaii Scuba Divers Dive Center in Hawaii,Oahu,Maui,Kona,Kauia,Big Island.

Home Study Hawaii Scuba Divers Enriched Air NITROX allows you to complete most of the Knowledge Development portion of the course at your own pace. After enrolling in Home Study Enriched Air NITROX , you will have access to a PDIC Enriched Air Instructor at your Hawaii Scuba Divers Dive Center to help answer any questions you have during the course. You can contact an instructor by email or phone to get guidance and help with the material you are studying. You may access Home Study Enriched Air NITROX help from the date of registration.

Once completed, you will receive your Home Study Enriched Air NITROX Certificate of Completion and then contact Hawaii Scuba Divers.LLC your Dive Center in Hawaii,Oahu,Maui,Kona,Kauia,Big Island. to complete the remaining course requirements. A Enriched Air Instructor will check your Knowledge Review and discuss any questions you answered incorrectly. You'll then complete the short Practical Application session.One Nitrox dive is required for course completion, Hawaii Scuba Divers.LLC your PDIC Dive Hawaii Scuba Training Center in Hawaii,Oahu,Maui,Kona,Kauia,Big Island. will arrange 2 enriched air dives.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

To take Hawaii Scuba Divers Home Study Enriched Air NITROX , you must be certified as a Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization and be at least 15 years of age.

Course Description

Hawaii Scuba Divers Home Study Enriched Air NITROX consists of the following segments of the PDIC Enriched Air Diver Specialty Course:

1. Knowledge Development 1 - covering enriched air dive planning, care for equipment, hazard management, use and application of enriched air, and completing a Knowledge Review. You'll complete these requirements using Home Study Enriched Air NITROX .

2. Practical Application 1 - using an oxygen analyzer to determine oxygen content in an enriched air blend, verification of cylinder content, use of a fill log. You'll complete these requirements with a PDIC Enriched Air Instructor at your Hawaii Scuba Divers Scuba Training Dive Center or Scuba Diving Resort in Hawaii,Oahu,Maui,Kona,Kauia,Big Island.

3. An enriched air dive will accompany the program. Successful completion of Home Study Enriched Air NITROX will allow you to
dive with enriched air blends with up to 40 percent oxygen. You'll be able make enriched air dives within the no-stop limits of the Nitrox Recreation Dive Charts or an Air/Nitrox-based dive computer, to a maximum depth of 130 ft.

Benifits of a PDIC Enriched Air Diver:

After receiving Hawaii Scuba Divers PDIC Enriched Air Diver certification. By doing so, you learn how to plan your dives accounting for oxygen exposure, and how to use enriched air dive computers and tables for planning dives within no stop limits and oxygen exposure limits. You'll also make at least two enriched air Nitrox dives under the direction of your instructor. As a PDIC Enriched Air Diver, you'll be certified to dive independently using enriched air Nitrox with up to 40% oxygen to extend your dive time beyond the no stop limits you have with air.
